We provide COVID-19 RT-PCR testing and Antibody detection for individuals and corporations in Ontario.

A key question from the start of the COVID-19 pandemic has been whether individuals can become reinfected with SARS-CoV-2, and if so, the frequency of occurrence and timing relative to prior infection.

There are numerous studies that demonstrate prolonged detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA that extends beyond the resolution of COVID-19 symptoms and can persist for several weeks or months.

Yes, all our test are authorized for sale by Health Canada. Travellers should confirm with the local government agency or airline to ensure your test results will be approved prior to boarding.

Vector Health offers a number of testing solutions for individuals and corporations.

RT-PCR Test: Polymerase Chain Reaction testing with results available within hours (2 hour, same day, and 24 hours). In our clinics, these tests are administered via nasal swab collection. This test is the “gold standard” of COVID-19 testing.

For our Corporate Clients, we offer a Saliva Collection Method for RT-PCR testing. Tests are administered with a Saline Oral Rinse and results are provided next day.

Antigen Test: All Antigen testing is administered via nasal swab collection. These tests provide quick screening results and are acceptable for travel to the United States, the UK and certain International countries

You must book an appointment online before receiving a test. We have appointments every 10-15 minutes and our online system is always available.

Vector Health will send your QR encoded result to the email address provided when booking an appointment. Your privacy is important to us, so please make sure all your personal information is correct when booking.

Yes!

Our RT-PCR and Antigen tests can be used for travel. Please check with your airline or local destination to determine which test is required.

Your confirmation email has a reschedule option. If you have any problems rescheduling, please email info@vectorhealth.ca with the name you booked under and the date/time you wish to change to.

There is NO COST to change your appointment.

Yes!

If you would like to change either the type of test (eg. RT-PCR to Antigen) or the time for results (eg. Same day to 2HR), we are here to assist. Please email info@vectorhealth.ca with the name you booked under and the type of test you would like to change to. We will update and either automatically credit your Credit Card the difference or provide you a payment link if the cost increased.

There are no hidden fees.

We understand that travel plans change.

Your confirmation email has a cancel option that you can select. If you have any problems cancelling an appointment, please email info@vectorhealth.ca with the name you booked under and note you wish to cancel your appointment.

For ALL cancellations, a $25.00 admin fee will be charged to your credit card.

If you answer yes to any of the screening questions then Vector Health will NOT be able to complete your testing.

• The UK requires that the test meets the following performance standards:
  ≥97% specificity, ≥80% sensitivity at viral loads above 100,000 copies/ml.
  This could include tests such as:
  ·     a nucleic acid test, including a RT-PCR test
  ·     a LAMP test
  ·     an antigen test, such as an LFD (lateral flow device) test
